Alternatives Holds Annual Thank You Reception
Alternatives held its 33rd annual Thank You reception this past week. Over 600 people attended the reception which honors the achievements of individuals and organizations who have played significant roles as staff members, individuals served or partners of Alternatives during the past year. This year, 27 awards were given out in 11 categories such as Outstanding Achievement, Leadership, and Teamwork. Longevity awards were also given out during the evening. more

C3 Project coming to Alternatives.
Anthropologist Margaret Mead said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." In the spirit of that statement, Alternatives, is inviting people from all walks of life and abilities to a gathering where the themes of Conversation, Creativity and Community will be explored. Known as The C3 Project, this is the third annual arts conference at Alternatives' Whitin Mill. The conference takes place Saturday, November 7th, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. more
