Community Campaign

Community support enables Alternatives to continue to assist the individuals that we serve to successfully obtain the real homes, real jobs and real relationships that they deserve. Thanks in part to our generous donors, more than 1,000 individuals with significant disabilities, throughout Central Massachusetts, begin each day with a personalized plan to improve their lives.

To better understand the Alternatives mission, we invite you to "click through" this message and read a letter from Joe and Lorraine Flamand, parents of Kathy Flamand, an individual served by Alternatives for over 30 years. Joe and Lorraine share their feelings around the supports that Kathy has received from Alternatives spanning three decades. And, we also are proud to share Kathy's Story... in her own words.

Perhaps the best way one can support Alternatives is through our Community Campaign. The Campaign is an annual fundraiser and one hundred percent of funds collected are used to improve the quality of life for the men and women we serve, ranging from maintenance of homes, funding wellness initiatives, and purchasing adaptive equipment. Gifts are tax-deductable. For your convenience, we offer on-line giving.
